Press Release
BusinessWeek Taps Mail2World for Exclusive Web Technology Report
Next-Generation Web-based Email
Los Angeles, Calif., Oct. 25, 2004- BusinessWeek has invited Mail2World, Inc., to join an elite group of industry thought leaders contributing to the magazine's 2004 "Web Solutions 2004" report, a feature advertorial about significant advances in Internet capabilities and their impact on business. As a global provider of advanced, outsourced messaging and collaboration solutions, Mail2World was asked to write a 1,000-word white paper informing BusinessWeek readers about important technology developments in its industry from a hands-on, industry perspective. On Nov. 22, 2004, a condensed version of Mail2World's white paper, entitled "Email Evolves, Leaving High Costs and Complexity Behind," will be published in BusinessWeek's Western Region print issue in a special section entitled "Web Solutions 2004: Progressive Ideas and Leading Technologies." Simultaneously, the full Mail2World "Web Solutions 2004" report detailing advances in Web messaging and collaboration will be published at www.technology-reports.com/mail.asp.
BusinessWeek launched its educational "Web Solutions 2004" report several years ago as a service to its readership, which are predominantly senior corporate managers in companies with $100 million+ annual sales. Participation in "Web Solutions 2004" is by invitation only and strictly limited to eight companies per regional edition. Collectively, participants must provide substantive, educational content on a variety of Web topics and follow specific copy guidelines. Previous "Web Solutions 2004" topics include the evolution of mass-marketing to mass-customization and the use of e-retailing to optimize brick-and-mortar pricing.
"We're honored that a publication of BusinessWeek's stature has recognized Mail2World as a leader in our industry," states Youssef Abed, executive vice president and COO of Mail2World. "As one of the early visionary companies in Web messaging technology, we're in an excellent position to educate BusinessWeek's readers about the history of email and how its evolution to the Web has created a viable alternative to traditional email systems. True to form, BusinessWeek chose a highly relevant topic for its readers, and we're delighted that Mail2World was selected to tell the story."
