Mail2World Enhances Internal Anti-spam Message Protection With New Commtouch Solutions

Mail2World, Inc., a leading provider of consumer and business Internet messaging and collaboration solutions, today announced it has strengthened its internal anti-spam/anti-virus engine by licensing Commtouch Anti-Spam SDK and Zero-Hour Virus Outbreak Protection. The SDK content-agnostic technology detects and blocks spam in any language and blocks image-based spam. Zero-Hour Virus Outbreak Protection proactively scans the Internet and identifies massive virus outbreaks as soon as they emerge.

To integrate SDK into the Mail2World platform, the Commtouch team worked closely with Mail2World engineers from evaluation and testing to ongoing support. “We were pleased with how easily we were able to integrate SDK into our in-house anti-spam and anti-virus engine,” explains Mail2World’s Director of IT Operations Kamil Asfour. “Once installed, SDK’s real-time protection was very effective. Almost immediately, we could see a higher spam and virus detection rate and fewer false positives.”
